MCD
21 Reasons is a project of Medical Care Development, Inc. (MCD), a non-profit organization that has worked to improve public health since 1966. MCD has provided capacity-building, training, technical assistance, and facilitation of collaborative endeavors around substance abuse prevention since 2001. MCD’s Division of Health Improvement is the home of many statewide public health initiatives including the Maine Youth Suicide Prevention Program, Maine Practice Improvement Network, Maine HIV Prevention Community Planning Group, Maine AIDS Alliance, Maine Dental Access Coalition and Kids Oral Health Partnership, Telephonic Diabetes Education and Support Program, Health Policy Partners of Maine, Maine Assembly On School-Based Health Care, and MESAP, Maine’s Environmental Substance Abuse Prevention Center.
